MTA budget: An article in Saturday’s Section A about the Metropolitan Transportation Authority forecasting a historic operating deficit referred to MTA board member Richard Katz as a Los Angeles city councilman. He has never served on the City Council.
Susan Kennedy: An article in the Jan. 17 Section A on Susan Kennedy, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s chief of staff, said that the governor obtained changes to the state workers’ compensation system during her first year with the administration in 2006. Those changes occurred in 2004, before she arrived.
Forest fees: A Money Makeover profile of Bronwen Aker in the Jan. 17 Business section said Aker paid $350 a month to lease U.S. Forest Service property on which her family has a home. Aker pays $350 a year for a permit to use the land.
Joffrey Ballet: An article in today’s Arts & Books section on the Joffrey Ballet’s production of “ Cinderella” gave the age of artistic director Ashley Wheater as 48. Wheater is 50.
