Newspaper publisher McClatchy Co. reported third-quarter sales that missed analysts’ estimates.
Revenue fell 23% from a year earlier to $347.4 million, the Sacramento-based company said. Analysts surveyed by Bloomberg had predicted $354.3 million.
Net income rose to $23.6 million, or 28 cents a share, from $4.2 million, or 5 cents, a year earlier, the company said.
