Victim killed in rollover identified as Orange teen

A teenage girl who died Saturday when she was thrown from a sport utility vehicle has been identified.
Patricia Thompson, 17, of Orange was riding with five other teenagers when their 4Runner veered into a concrete light pole on La Palma Avenue east of Manassero Street.
Thompson was ejected as the vehicle rolled, police said Sunday. The other passengers were taken to hospitals with injuries that were not life-threatening.
