L.A. vs. Bay

Let’s see, since coming to Los Angeles, the Lakers have won nine NBA championships. The Dodgers have won the World Series five times. During that same time, the San Francisco/Golden State Warriors have won it all once. The Giants are zero for 50 years.

In reading last week’s letter from Andrew Moran expressing his glee at Jason Schmidt’s going on the disabled list and the Warriors’ winning a playoff series, I can only say how pleased I am that it takes so little to make Bay Area fans happy.
