I went to see the Dodgers for the first time this season and was surprised and turned off by the number of advertisements in the outfield spread between the foul poles. I counted 33.
There was always a pride in how beautiful Dodger Stadium was. You’d have to be in deep denial to ignore that the omnipresent posters and messages detract from the look of the stadium and introduce a crass, commercial feel. It’s as if no one was monitoring to exercise any restraint and just say “enough.”
