Sutherland dials in a 65

Kevin Sutherland shot a seven-under-par 65 in favorable scoring conditions Thursday to take a two-stroke lead after the first round of the AT&T; Classic at Duluth, Ga.
Japan’s Ryuji Imada, a former standout at the University of Georgia, eagled his final hole to join Stephen Marino, Tommy Armour III, Bob May and Craig Kanada at 67 on the Greg Norman-designed TPC Sugarloaf.
Sutherland holed out a bunker shot on the par-three 16th hole for the first of three consecutive birdies.
After hitting a wedge within five feet at No. 17, Sutherland reached the 18th green in two shots for a two-putt birdie.

Sara Lee shot a bogey-free, six-under 66 at Clifton, N.J., to take a two-stroke lead over defending champion Lorena Ochoa and four others after the first round of the LPGA’s $1.4-million Sybase Classic.
Se Ri Pak, Brittany Lincicome, rookie Angela Park and Hye Jung Choi joined Ochoa at 68, a shot ahead of three others led by recent first-time winner Meaghan Francella.
