Re “It’s not their business,” editorial, May 2
It is unfair and purely political for lawmakers to use the veiled threat of pulling liquor licenses of grocery stores if they don’t give in to union demands. The other part of the story is how easily city leaders can be owned by the unions who support them. I too think something is wrong when city officials think it is their business to micromanage private industry.
Let’s get a fair deal between management and the union without the unfair intrusion of city officials who are supposed to represent all of us. Who made them kings?
