From Times Staff and Wire Reports
A New Orleans-bound Amtrak train that originated in Los Angeles derailed Wednesday afternoon, but no injuries were reported, said Ontario Fire Department spokesman Jacob Green.
The train had just made a stop and was traveling about 10 mph when a car slipped off the track. Most of the 182 passengers and workers on the train were put on buses and driven back to Los Angeles.
Green said the incident apparently was caused by a track problem.
