Riordan Lewis raises $265 million

Riordan, Lewis & Haden, a Westwood-based private equity firm, announced it had raised $265 million in its second fund open to outside investors.
The firm invests in mid-size California companies in healthcare, business services, high-end manufacturing and financial services. It targets fast-growing companies with annual revenue of $20 million to $250 million.
The company launched its first fund in 2000.
Riordan Lewis was founded in 1982 by former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan and businessman J. Christopher Lewis. Pat Haden, a former star football player at USC and in the National Football League, joined the firm in 1987.
