Bus Driver Allegedly Put Black Kids in Back

A school district suspended a white bus driver while it investigated complaints that she ordered nine black children to sit at the back of the bus.
No previous complaints have been lodged against the driver, who has worked for the Red River Parish school district for several years, school Superintendent Kay Easley said. She would not identify the driver.
“I’m trying to get all this straight, and settled, so we can all move on,” Easley said.
