In between reading scripts, there’s good food and pals

IN the three years she’s been in Los Angeles, Florida native Arielle Kebbel has made the most of her time, rapidly becoming in demand in Hollywood.
Already seen this year in “John Tucker Must Die” and “Aquamarine,” she will next be on screen in October’s “The Grudge 2.”
When the 21-year-old actress isn’t filming, it’s all about her friends, her boyfriend of three years (actor-director Brahman Turner) and good food.
Hot for her Hulk
On Friday nights, we normally will do a Hulk shake and a movie at the ArcLight. I love the Hulk shakes; they’re from this health food shop called BodyFactory, right next to the ArcLight, and they call it the Hulk because it’s this like ridiculous $6 shake. All I know is it’s supposed to be good for you, and it’s damn good. And you’re allowed to bring it in the movie theater.
After the ArcLight we normally sit outside and talk, and then we go home and hang out. We try to catch the repeats of “Entourage” or something.
Living out loud
On Saturdays, I exercise, whether it’s hiking either at Runyon or Fryman Canyon, biking or swimming. And then normally I read some scripts, get them out of the way, do any errand stuff I have to do.
Saturday night would either be a fun dinner, going-out night or catching up with friends. We go to the Grove a lot because they have big tables where you can be loud. My best friend, who I live with, is a huge social butterfly, so when we do dinner, it’s normally at least 12 people, big groups at dinner. So places like Maggiano’s, where you can sit outside and put eight tables together and then just totally enjoy eating family-style, are great.
Normally what we do from there is go out dancing or go to a bar. Most of the time we’ll be at a club bar, like the Cabana Club in Hollywood, or there’s this place our friend used to work at, Three of Clubs. I don’t care which club I’m at as long as my friends are there. After that, I love going to one of my friend’s houses and staying up, talking, laughing the night away.
Everyone into the pool
My boyfriend lives right by Beachwood Canyon, so a lot of times we’ll do dinner with friends at Birds cafe -- a quarter chicken with steamed veggies and onion rings. I’m a huge fan of Birds.
Lately, because it’s been summertime, some of my boyfriend’s friends throw pool parties every weekend, so Sundays are usually the pool party days, where you just kind of come and go as you please.
Then as soon as the late afternoon hits, I have to read scripts, start getting ready for Monday, e-mail, work-related stuff. I’m not one to get it all done Friday; I’m one to get it done Sunday evening.
