A suspected child molester who escaped from a county jail in April has been arrested in Mexico and returned to San Diego, authorities said.
George Joseph Munoz, 31, faces three counts of lewd acts on a child under 14.
He escaped with two other inmates through a hole in the fence surrounding a recreational area at the George F. Bailey Detention Facility, located a few miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border.
One of the escapees was captured the day after the jailbreak but the third remains at large.
