Council OKs Purchase of Wind Farm Energy

As expected, the City Council on Tuesday unanimously approved the purchase of energy from a Wyoming wind farm.
The agreement is for 16 years and could cost up to $280 million. It is intended to help the Department of Water and Power increase its supply of energy from renewable sources.
