Delta to Launch Mexico, Central America Flights

Continuing its recent expansion into the fast-growing Latin American market, Delta Air Lines Inc. said it would launch nonstop flights from Los Angeles to nine destinations in Mexico and two in Central America.
Between Dec. 15 and March 8, the Atlanta-based carrier plans to add flights between Los Angeles International Airport and La Paz, Acapulco, Loreto, Mazatlan, Culiacan, Manzanillo, Zacatecas, Hermosillo and Torreon in Mexico, Liberia in Costa Rica and Guatemala City.
In addition, Delta is adding flights between LAX and Las Vegas, San Francisco, Sacramento, Oakland and San Jose -- all timed to connect with its new Mexico flights.
