BENIGNO RODRIGUEZ, a doctor from Cleveland, was visiting family in Colombia last winter when he spotted fishermen casting nets between Barranquilla and Santa Marta, on the Caribbean coast. He captured the moment in black-and-white with his Canon EOS 20D. “This place is quite magical,” said Rodriguez. “Having grown up there, this area is so close to my heart.”
