Emulex Posts 50% Drop in 4th-Quarter Profit

Emulex Corp. said earnings for its fiscal fourth quarter, ended July 2, fell 50% to $12.7 million, or 14 cents a share, from $25.3 million, or 28 cents, in the same period last year. The Costa Mesa maker of devices for storage networks said revenue fell 9% to $98.9 million.
