Do-nothing Congress

Senate Democrats were right in refusing to let the Republican leadership use the lowest-paid workers in America as human shields for estate tax cuts (Aug. 4). Because of this cynical ploy, minimum-wage workers will continue to fall behind as a do-nothing Congress limps toward change in November.
