Man Is Shot to Death at Indoor Swap Meet

A young man was killed Saturday at the Indoor Swap Meet in what police said appeared to be a gang-related shooting.
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said the victim, believed to be 17 to 19 years old, exchanged angry words with the assailant, who opened fire, shooting him in the chest about 10:30 a.m. The victim, whose name has not been released, later died at a nearby hospital. Police said they are searching for the suspect, whom they have not publicly identified.
