Woman’s Fatal Shooting Linked to Serial Killer

The death of a woman who was shot and killed while walking to her boyfriend’s house has been linked to a serial killer believed responsible for random shootings in the Phoenix area, police said. Six people have been killed and 17 wounded since May 2005.
The shooting was linked to earlier cases because of similarities and forensic evidence, said Mesa Police Sgt. Chuck Trapani.
