Re “Gov. to Appoint Former Rep. Rogan to Judgeship,” Aug. 1
If anybody was fooled by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s attempt to appear bipartisan, the cat is out of the bag. By appointing former Rep. James E. Rogan (aptly described by The Times as the manager of President Clinton’s impeachment and a conservative hero) as an Orange County Superior Court judge, Schwarzenegger is showing his true colors at last.
Any Democrat or independent who was thinking of voting for Schwarzenegger must now step back and take a long, long look.
