Aspiring to the top of hip-hop

It might not quite be the hip-hop counterpart to Coachella, but the Rock the Bells concert is shaping up as the genre’s premiere event. The fourth annual edition will be headlined by Wu-Tang Clan (which played its final concert with the late ODB here two years ago), joined by Mos Def, Talib Kweli, De La Soul, Aesop Rock, Redman, the Living Legends and more. And MC Supernatural will attempt to surpass the Guinness World Record of 8 hours 45 minutes for longest freestyle rap.
Rock the Bells, NOS Events Center, 689 South E St., San Bernardino. Noon Saturday. $40 to $100. (909) 888-6788.
