Diodes Earnings Jump 49% on Sales Increase

Semiconductor supplier Diodes Inc. said its second-quarter profit grew by 49%, driven by a sizable rise in sales.

The Westlake Village company said net income for the quarter was $11.4 million, or 41 cents a share, up from $7.7 million, or 32 cents, a year earlier. Revenue was $82.7 million, up from $50.6 million a year earlier.
