Re “AOL Case Points to a Trend: Breaking Up Is Hard to Do,” Aug. 25
Over the years, I have heard many stories from family and friends regarding difficulties switching from AOL to another Internet provider. Topping them all was my neighbor’s account of the problems she encountered when she tried to close her deceased brother’s account. They demanded a copy of the death certificate!
