Who’s paying for the governor?

Re “Nonprofits Cloak Donors to Governor,” Aug. 24
Our “self-made” multimillionaire actor-governor does not pay for his housing in Sacramento, his foreign travel is underwritten by groups that receive tax benefits for contributing to nonprofit organizations, and he “never bothers himself” with the details of who contributes to these funds that support his personal and political agendas.
The governor is certainly a man with hubris to match his pumped-up celluloid image. Is he not the same politician who purports to take government out of the hands of the “special interests” and return it to the “people”?

The governor’s aide says Schwarzenegger doesn’t pay too much attention to who contributes to the nonprofits. He doesn’t care who is paying his rent, as long as it gets paid. This really smells. The governor should put an end to it.
