A Van Nuys restaurant was robbed Friday night, the latest in a string of holdups at area eateries, police said Saturday.
Two armed men wearing masks entered the Valley Ranch Barbeque in the 16600 block of Sherman Way about 9 p.m. and stole about $2,000, according to Los Angeles Police Officer Jason Lee. No shots were fired.
Police were investigating whether the robbery was linked to similar incidents at several other restaurants in the area.
