Re “Demography and the single girl,” Opinion, Aug. 23
Don’t forget the old broads who are living the single life and loving it and still living in our Proposition 13 homes. On my block there are three of us -- two widows and one divorcee. We’re happy growing our tomatoes in our backyards. We aren’t looking for men because we figure either he or we would be wiping the dribble off one or the other’s chin in no time.
Anyway, it’s cheaper to buy a puppy to love!
