Fierce Winds Blamed for Afghan Copter Crash

Spanish Defense Minister Jose Bono said fierce winds caused the crash of one of the country’s military helicopters last week in Afghanistan, which killed all 17 soldiers aboard.
Bono cited a technical report by crash investigators and accounts from people near the site. Investigators ultimately ruled there was no evidence of an attack or collision with another copter, the minister said.
