Re “Dusting Off a Dictator,” Column One, Aug. 19
Ferdinand Marcos was no hero. He started everything bad in the Philippines: the killings, corruption, election cheatings, etc.
If Marcos left office after his term was up, the Philippine situation would be better off today.
