Yahoo to Provide Search Services on Viacom Sites

Viacom Inc., the third-largest U.S. media company, said Yahoo Inc. would provide Internet search services on its websites including CBSNews.com, MTV.com and NickJr.com.
The companies didn’t disclose terms of the agreement. Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Yahoo also will provide advertising-based search results, New York-based Viacom said.
Yahoo also will provide its search services on BET.com, CMT.com, Showtime’s Sho.com and VH1.com, Viacom said.
