Jessica Lynch, Former POW, Begins College

Former Iraq prisoner of war Jessica Lynch, 22, started college, going largely unnoticed among the other freshmen at West Virginia University.
Despite her cane and leg brace, most students at the Morgantown campus didn’t notice the former Army supply clerk.
“She’s been out of the news for so long she’s not readily recognizable,” said Lynch’s publicist, Aly Goodwin Gregg, “which I think she appreciates.”
