Deaf Woman Disappears With Unknown Man

A 19-year-old deaf woman with the mental capacity of a young teenager was reported missing Monday, last seen leaving her parents’ home in Fontana with a man she may have met through the Internet, police said.
Heather Lopez was seen leaving the home in the 11300 block of Azure Court about 1:30 p.m. Sunday with a man 35 to 40 years old in a blue two-door pickup truck. Lopez was wearing a red shirt, light denim jeans and white sneakers.
“No crime has been committed, but her parents are very concerned, and rightfully so,” Fontana Police Sgt. William Megenney said. Police have asked anyone with information of Lopez’s whereabouts to call them at (909) 350-7700.
