Body Found in Desert May Be Anaheim Man’s

A badly decomposed body found in the desert near Barstow is believed to be that of Mark Claire Redweik, 43, of Anaheim, who has been missing since his car broke down May 31, San Bernardino County authorities said Monday.
Redweik was reported missing by his wife, who said he set off walking in the Mojave Desert to seek assistance after their car broke down.
Investigators do not believe Redweik was the victim of foul play, said a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman.
