Amazon Drops Kodak for Shutterfly Service

Amazon.com Inc. ended its partnership with Eastman Kodak Co. for processing photos online, switching to the services offered by Shutterfly Inc.
Shutterfly’s photo developing, custom-printed mugs and T-shirts, online albums and photo storage are now available through Amazon.com, Redwood City, Calif.-based Shutterfly said. Amazon.com spokeswoman Jani Strand declined to comment on the change or terms of the arrangement.
Shutterfly, a closely held company, competes with Kodak’s EasyShare Gallery in offering prints of digital photos and other products and services.
