As many as 200 looters battled police all weekend in an attempt to take beer from a train wreck, and one woman was killed, South African police said.
The train carrying 180,000 crates of beer from South African Breweries derailed Friday night near Waterval Boven, east of Johannesburg, Supt. Izak van Zyl said.
Police fired rubber bullets into the crowd. Six people were arrested and three of 500 missing cases were recovered. A 19-year-old was killed when she was run over by a truck, police said.
