Four people were found shot -- at least two fatally -- in separate incidents Friday night and Saturday morning in Los Angeles County, authorities said.
Christopher Figueroa, 16, was standing on a sidewalk in the 3500 block of Beechwood Avenue in Lynwood about 9:40 p.m. Friday when a man got out of a car, shot him and fled.
Figueroa was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, said Sheriff’s Deputy Scott Gage.
Details about the three other shootings were sketchy.
In Lancaster, a woman was found dead shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of East Lingard Street, Gage said.
In Bell, a man was standing in the 6200 block of South Atlantic Avenue about 10 p.m. Friday when a man walked up and shot him several times in the upper torso before running away.
Santana Gonzalez, 25, of Maywood was taken to a hospital, where he was not expected to survive his wounds, Gage said.
In Pico Rivera, a man was shot about 3:20 a.m. Saturday at Lemoran Avenue and Bascom Street. His condition was unknown, Gage said.
