Free Hockey Tickets Hard to Come By

The free tickets to the Kings vs. Mighty Ducks on Sept. 17 were gone one second after they went on sale, then were put on EBay 15 minutes later at $5 each.
Is Ticketmaster responsible for the fact that absolutely no one I know got tickets in person at Staples Center or online at Ticketmaster.com?

At exactly 10 a.m. I was offered section 322, last row. I have a fast computer and on my second request for tickets, thinking the worst seats were being offered first, Ticketmaster produced the news that “No more tickets are available.” Sold out in under 30 seconds,
Isn’t it a little early for the bad promotional stunts to hide another mediocre team?
