Fire Department SUV Left Unlocked, Stolen

Authorities are looking for the person who stole a Fire Department SUV.
Paramedics were answering a call at 12:05 a.m. Monday when a Fire Department supervisor left one of the doors to his vehicle unlocked, authorities said. Someone jumped into the vehicle and took off.
Along the way, the thief struck another vehicle, slightly injuring the driver, police Sgt. Neville Gittens said.
When Fire Department vehicles block a lane, it is customary to leave them running and locked so their flashing lights can warn passersby, officials said.
