Relocation: The World Music Awards, which have been honoring the bestselling recording artists around the globe since 1989, will be handed out locally for the first time this month. The ceremony will take place Aug. 31 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, with ABC taping it for broadcast Sept. 13.

Revival: The 1950s musical “The Pajama Game” will be revived on Broadway in January, with jazz crooner Harry Connick Jr. playing the role originated by John Raitt.
