81 Years of Loving Each Other and Food

A French couple celebrating their 81st wedding anniversary offered this advice on love and longevity: Keep arguments to a minimum, eat well and have a glass of wine.

Andre and Marguerite Debray of Chateauroux met soon after World War I and married on Aug. 12, 1924.

“We lived together so long that we have the same tastes,” Marguerite Debray said. He is 107 and she is 101.

As for diets, she said: “I don’t know what that is. I eat everything that is edible.”
