Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, Widespread Panic, Ryan Adams and dozens of other musicians will take part in a new pop-rock-hip-hop festival in Las Vegas called Vegoose, slated for Halloween weekend.
Vegoose is the latest venture from the creators of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, held each June in Tennessee, and will take place Oct. 29 and 30 at Sam Boyd Stadium.
In addition to a music lineup that also features the Flaming Lips, the String Cheese Incident, Digable Planets, Primus and Ween, Vegoose will encompass appearances by performance artists, art installations, separately ticketed late-night performance at Las Vegas-area clubs and various interactive components, organizers say.
Tickets go on sale Saturday through the event’s web site, .
