Stern jumps to video on demand

It’s not just on radio that Howard Stern will be testing out a new technology.
In Demand, which provides video-on-demand content to cable television companies, said Wednesday it had reached an agreement to carry the televised version of Stern’s show that had been shown for 11 years on the E! Entertainment network.
Stern’s popular radio show is moving to Sirius Satellite Radio from “free” radio in January.
The In Demand show will contain edited highlights of his radio program, available in the evening the day after it originally aired. Unlike on E!, it will be uncensored, In Demand spokesman Eric Duncan said.
