Back in action: Daryl Hall, diagnosed as having Lyme disease six weeks ago, returns to the stage with John Oates on Saturday for a concert in Toledo, Ohio. Hall has been resting and taking antibiotics, his publicist said, and will continue to take antibiotics for up to two months.
More talk: Phil McGraw has extended his contract to host the syndicated “Dr. Phil” TV show through the 2013-14 season. As of Sept. 12, the weekday program will move from KNBC-TV Channel 4 to dual appearances on KCBS-TV Channel 2 (at 4 p.m.) and KCAL-TV Channel 9 (at 7 p.m.).
Concert: Paul Simon and Jerry Seinfeld will perform at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood Sept. 24 to raise money for Autism Speaks, a nonprofit organization founded by NBC Universal chief executive Bob Wright to fund research and raise public awareness of the disorder.
Tickets go on sale Aug. 15 through Ticketmaster.
