Pedestrian Killed at Unmarked Crosswalk

A woman was killed when she was struck by a car while crossing at an unmarked crosswalk, police said Monday.
Christine Rheem, 40, of Placentia was hit about 9:30 p.m. Sunday at Chapman Avenue and Central Street, they said.
The driver, who was not identified, was neither arrested nor cited. The accident was under investigation, police said.
