A Pomona man drowned late Friday after his boat capsized on Lake Perris, authorities said. Two other men were thrown overboard when the craft rolled over but were rescued.
Roberto Ira Oden, 46, was found by divers late Friday evening about 40 minutes after rescuers arrived.
He was pronounced dead after attempts to revive him were unsuccessful, said Andre Ramos, superintendent of the Lake Perris state recreation area.
The driver of the boat, who was not identified, was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter because his blood alcohol rate was over the legal limit.
