Man Sought in Robberies at 3 Restaurants

Police are seeking a man who held up three restaurants in Ventura.
Based on witnesses’ descriptions, the same man appears to have robbed Starbucks on Telephone Road on Dec. 3, Pizza Hut on Thompson Boulevard on Dec. 2 and Baskin Robbins on East Main Street on Nov. 11, police said. The robber flashed a gun in only the Pizza Hut robbery.
He is described as Latino, in his 20s, 5 feet 10 and 150 pounds. He has been seen wearing a black baseball cap and driving a white van. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 339-4462 or 339-4479.
