Year’s Yosemite Haze Linked to Forest Fires

Researchers from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Colorado State University say forest fires probably contributed to periods of haze in Yosemite National Park this year.
In a three-month survey of air quality, researchers measuring fine particles found high concentrations of organic carbons, and concluded that they probably came from forest fires in Oregon and Southern California this summer.
