Fusion theater conference set

The public is invited to an exploration of Israeli-Japanese fusion theater, part of a free international conference on contemporary Israeli theater hosted by the UCLA Department of Theater, on Sunday, in the Little Theater at Macgowan Hall on the Westwood campus.
Scholars and artists will discuss and demonstrate current trends in theater and music in Israel from noon until 5:45 p.m., followed by a reception hosted by the Israeli Consulate and the Center for Jewish Culture and Creativity. At 7:15 p.m., there will be a screening of “The Dybbuk/Between Two Worlds” and a question-and-answer session with the artists in the Bridges Theater.
