Giuliani Takes Himself Off the Candidate List

Former New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani has popped the question to his companion Judith Nathan.
“We are engaged,” Giuliani said at a Manhattan book signing. “It was a beautiful thing.”
Spokeswoman Sunny Mindel said Giuliani proposed Nov. 24 to his companion of more than two years during a trip to Paris.
The proposal came five months after the 58-year-old ex-mayor finalized his divorce from Donna Hanover after 20 years of marriage. The divorce settlement called for Giuliani to pay Hanover more than $6.8 million.
