The Capistrano Unified School District is urging staff, parents and the community to participate in the district’s annual Halloween blood drive from noon to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the staff development office, Annex II, 32951 Calle Perfecto.
To participate, individuals must be at least 17 years old, 110 pounds or more, in good health and should not be taking antibiotics. Donors should drink lots of water and eat before giving blood. The process takes about 45 minutes.
