Paraclete 29, Tehachapi 28--Tehachapi scored 14 points in the final 4:22, but Paraclete (7-1) held on at Antelope Valley College.

Michael Washington scored on 35-yard reception from Craig Herrera on the Spirits’ opening possession and later in the first quarter on a 77-yard interception return for a 15-0 lead. Washington had two interceptions.

Erick Jackson rushed for 116 yards in six carries and scored on runs of 77 and 10 yards. Curtis Brown added 44 yards in nine carries.

Tehachapi (6-2) outgained the Spirits, 406 yards to 206.
